Position Overview
- Providing exceptional customer experience and case management while serving as the primary liaison for securing requirements and solving problems during the policy issuance process.
- Partnering with the Underwriting team to maintain proactive case management by helping streamline the required touches of the Underwriting team to reduce cycle time; prioritize workload ensuring cases are processed in a timely manner while maintaining frequent communication to manage customer expectations; recommend improvements in procedures to improve efficiencies and enhance the customer experience.
- Special projects as assigned.
- Supplying timely and informative service to producers and responds to phone and email inquiries related to pending cases.
- Validating new insurance applications prior to initial Underwriting to ensure state specific and regulatory guidelines are followed.
- Following up on any outstanding requirements within a specified timeframe.
- Setting up the policy for issue, providing final quality review and securing final delivery requirements.
- Maintaining detailed, compliant, and accurate documentation of all case activity.
Qualifications:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and multi-task.
- Working knowledge of company products and all Life New Business Procedures.
- Detail orientation aptitude to manage all phases of the life insurance application process.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
Education and/or experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent education and experience, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of customer service experience, life insurance or financial services preferred.
- 1+ year of experience in Life Insurance.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. The annual base salary range provided in this posting for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $35,952 to $68,480.
