Senior Category Planning Manager

Sr. Category Planning Manager: 

The Category Planning Manager is responsible for the management of category-level plans within the company Open-To-Buy, acts as the planning department lead for the SKU-level replenishment program and plans category fabrics as assigned.  This role is highly collaborative and partners closely with a variety of cross functional teams.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain sales, returns, markdowns and receipts plans for assigned categories within the OTB, under the direction of the Sr. Planning Director. Ensure that all plans align with company wide goals (assortment, production & financial). 
• Work with Sr. Planning Director to forecast financial targets for assigned categories within the OTB; communicate financial objectives cross-functionally.
• Maintain portions of the SKU-level replenishment model for “always in stock” style-colors. Deliver specific buys for these style-colors and help manage the assortment of the “always in stock” program in conjunction with the merchandising team and other members of the planning team.
• Work closely with the Merchandising, Design and Purchasing teams to plan fabric and trim buys for Denim.
• Work independently and with business intelligence teams to build reports that facilitate faster analysis.
• Prepare hindsights on assigned finished goods categories
• Ad hoc reports, projects and analysis as necessary
  

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree strongly preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in planning
• Strong Analytical and Math Skills
• Strong Excel Knowledge
• Ability to deal successfully with complexities of a rapidly expanding organization
• The ability to read/write SQL and previous experience with analytics software a plus.
