The opportunity
Unity is looking for a Senior Channel Partner Account Manager to join our growing Channel Partnerships organization in Japan. In this role, you will drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with some of the most influential companies in the region, delivering Unity’s leading solutions to world-class clients.
As the regional channel sales champion, you will foster end-to-end partner relationships, drive outstanding reseller account management practices, and accelerate incremental revenue growth. Core to your success will be collaborating with our reselling partners to establish business goals, align on performance metrics (e.g., sales pipeline depth and revenue generation), and contribute to Unity’s continued success in key industries.

You will work alongside an innovative and collaborative team, playing an active role in shaping the future of Unity’s channel partnerships in Japan and across APAC.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and grow key channel partners in Japan, driving revenue while strengthening and scaling a high-performing partner ecosystem.
- Own the end-to-end partner lifecycle by actively recruiting new partners, enabling them for success, and activating them to generate pipeline and revenue.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, aligning closely with sales and business development teams to drive joint growth initiatives.
- Lead annual business planning and performance reviews to ensure accountability and consistent achievement of KPIs.
- Design and execute ambitious go-to-market strategies, including onboarding, enablement, and co-marketing programs to continuously expand and energize the partner ecosystem in Japan.
What we're looking for
- Proven Partner Sales Mastery: Demonstrated expertise in "sell-with" and "sell-through" strategies, with a track record of driving revenue through a robust partner ecosystem.
- Industrial Sector & SaaS Proficiency: Deep understanding of SaaS business models combined with hands-on sales experience in Japanese industrial sectors like Automotive, Aerospace, and Manufacturing.
- Strategic GTM & SI Collaboration: Strong background in developing Go-To-Market (GTM) plans and managing complex relationships with System Integrator (SI) partners to scale market presence.
- Partner Recruitment & Onboarding: Proactive ability to identify, recruit, and enable new partners, ensuring they are equipped to represent the solution effectively in the local market.
- Business Acumen for Balanced Growth: Skill in delivering immediate revenue results while simultaneously shaping long-term strategic growth and profitability for partners.
- Fluent Japanese and English (Spoken and Written)
You might also have
- Sales experience in industrial sectors such as automotive, aerospace, construction, engineering, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies (Real-time 3D, Digital Twins, Enterprise SaaS)
- Experience with Digital Transformation (DX) projects
