Why this role is important to us
In the role as Senior – Channel Partnerships you will ensure growth through our existing Channel Partners, as well as own and develop the strategy and execution of our Global Tier 3 Channel Partner strategy. You will report to the Global Head of Partnerships.
What you will be responsible for
- Supporting Channel Partner strategy to enhance sales and market presence via Channel Partners, ensuring alignment with SimCorp strategic goalsÂ
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with existing Channel Partners to optimize sales performance, pipeline generation and expanding SimCorp product market reach
- Working with the team to develop and deliver a Global Tier 3 Channel Partnership strategy across Simcorp productsÂ
- Providing comprehensive training and support to Channel Partners, to ensure they have the necessary tools and knowledge to promote our productsÂ
- Coordinating with finance department on invoicing, contract renewals and client contractingÂ
- Supporting the NA and EMEA regional channel partner leads in executing strategic initiatives, managing relationships and revenue growth activities for Tier 1 partnersÂ
- Supporting one joint sales intelligence, metrics/KPI infrastructure across SimCorp by utilizing SalesForce.comÂ
- Working closely with marketing teams to develop joint marketing campaigns and promotional activities with Channel PartnersÂ
- Understanding the partners’ needs and current workflow and advising them on the relevant use of software, index products and risk modelsÂ
- Liaising between all internal teams functions including sales, marketing product, legal and financeÂ
What we value
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or similar backgroundÂ
- At least 4+ years of financial market experience, sales and sales engineeringÂ
- Experience selling sophisticated financial software solutions into the buy-side or sell-sideÂ
- Ability to build good relationships and to lead critical client negotiations and relationshipsÂ
- Ability to work effectively across organizational and functional boundaries and to contribute to the strategic agenda of the companyÂ
- Previous experience with an international European parent entity and global sales organization. Exposure to European capital market regulations is a plusÂ
- Very good written and oral communication and presentation skillsÂ
- A strategic and commercial mindset paired with a positive attitudeÂ
- Very good quantitative and analytical skills Â
- Solid understanding in equity and fixed income concepts around modern portfolio theory, CFA designation is desirableÂ
- Travel: 10%-20%Â
