Job Description

Our client, a leading IT service provider in the German banking sector, is driving digital transformation and enhancing customer engagement through innovative banking solutions. By leveraging advanced technologies they empower financial institutions to deliver seamless and secure digital experiences to millions of customers across Germany.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Citrix Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will manage a large-scale SaaS Citrix platform serving approximately 140,000 users across multiple Citrix sites. Your responsibilities will include overseeing both test and production environments, ensuring high availability and optimizing performance for a diverse application suite.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure Reliable Performance -> Manage a large-scale SaaS Citrix platform, supporting approximately 140,000 users across multiple Citrix sites and ensuring consistent access to a diverse application suite.

2. Maintain High Availability -> Maintain high availability of Citrix platforms across production and test environments, ensuring minimal service disruptions.

3. Enhance Security & Compliance -> Lead the implementation of Citrix and Windows OS updates, along with security hotfixes, to safeguard system integrity and compliance with security standards.

4. Optimize Citrix Environment -> Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve Citrix-related issues to optimize system performance, meeting business needs while minimizing downtime.

5. Drive Communication and Collaboration -> Collaborate across teams, using excellent German and English communication skills to explain technical concepts and ensure smooth project execution.

6. Project Management & Support -> Lead projects, prioritize tasks, and manage deadlines while providing exceptional customer service to meet the technical support needs of business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server OS.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Extensive experience with Active Directory and Group Policies
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in Citrix environments.
• Proficiency in German language, both written and spoken
• Nice to have: Experience with Citrix ADC (NetScaler), network traffic analysis, and Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
