The role

What will you be doing?

Senior Client Account Manager
Location: Remote, with regular travel to Dorking, London, and various client sites.
We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Senior Client Account Manager to lead and strengthen strategic relationships with Unum’s premier clients. This role requires a proactive approach to client engagement, ensuring the retention and growth of existing accounts by partnering closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will drive business development by identifying opportunities for expansion and positioning Unum as the preferred partner for your clients. You will manage and conduct structured meetings with designated client partner firms, leveraging data and market insights to support joint business objectives and deliver value.
As a collaborative team player, you will contribute to the continuous improvement and strategic development of the distribution team, sharing expertise and fostering a culture of growth and success.

  • Experience in account management within Financial Services
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels, with a focus on effective presentation of information, as well as value proposition
  • A commercial mindset with general marketplace knowledge of adjacent markets, products and services
  • Ability to drive and deliver on your own target
  • A clear focus on quality in every aspect of proactive account management
  • Dedicated to identifying new ways of working and process improvements
