Senior Clinical Trial Lead

As a Senior Clinical Trial Lead, you will lead two or more clinical trial teams for studies of medium complexity in support of one or more projects.

In this role a typical day will include:

• Leading and managing the global multidisciplinary Clinical Trial Team (CTT) who is responsible for planning, conducting and reporting on all clinical trials within CRD.
• Contributing feasibility input for the development of the protocol synopsis. Collaborating with the Medical Advisors to ensure country feedback is adequately integrated into the protocol.
• Independently ensuring quality and timely execution of a clinical trial within timeline and budget
• Being accountable for the development, management and tracking of trial budget.
• Writing scientifically rigorous protocols aligned with the approved protocol synopsis
• Ensuring investigational product supply, Health Authority and IRB/IEC submission and approval
• Ensuring all auxiliary documents, including manual of procedures, informed consent template, investigator brochure, statistical analysis plan, data validation plan, etc. are written in high quality and available.
• Defining clinical outsourcing specifications and scope of work for clinical trial vendors.
• Ensuring the implementation of standard data collection modules, where possible or obtains approval for deviation.
• Resolving issues within the CTT and/or, as necessary elevating issues to appropriate teams and governance groups.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent year of directly related experience (or high school + 13 yrs; Assoc. +9 yrs; M.S. +2 yrs; PHD +0 yrs.
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 5 Years of Relevant Experience
• Travel: up to 5%
• Relocation: NO
