Currently, we are looking for a (Senior) Cloud Advisor with the ability to advise on C-Level to join our team Austria.

As a Cloud Advisor in our German team, you'll be at the forefront of helping top-tier companies leverage cutting-edge cloud solutions and technologies. You will play a critical role in advising our clients on their cloud strategies, enabling them to achieve agility, scalability, and innovation.

Internally you will contribute to further develop and strengthen our relevant offerings and services. In the sales cycle, you will contribute to client proposals and run presales workshops with our clients in your areas of expertise.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Strategic Advisory: Guide clients in developing and implementing tailored cloud strategies that align with their business goals
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with C-level executives, managers and key decision-makers, providing expert guidance on cloud adoption and optimization
• Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of the curve by sharing insights and trends in cloud technologies, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor in the industry
• Technology guidance: Build technology roadmaps and design high-level target architectures for our clients
• Application and Migration Strategy: Work with clients to create the infrastructure and application strategy and roadmap (cloud provider choice, cloud vs. on-prem, organizational changes required)
• Security and compliance: Support clients in the creation of a holistic compliance and security approach for the cloud
• Cloud financials: Advise clients on considerations for cloud consumption methods (cloud consumption contracting, OpEx vs. CapEx, FinOps)

Your qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on cloud technologies
• Certifications: Relevant cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are desirable

Your key skills:

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Delivery models and change management: Understanding of new delivery models (e.g. DevOps) and organizational restructuring challenges (impacts of “new normal” on people and culture)
• Way of working: Structured way of working and high quality standards. Strong business and commercial acumen, able to understand business challenges and to build cloud business cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and propose effective solutions
• Technology trends and industries: Widely-read and up to date awareness of industry trends and technology advancements. Local industry/domain-specific knowledge is a bonus (e.g. finance, retail, manufacturing, or a blend)
• Mentoring: Proven ability to mentor and coach juniors in your field of expertise, focusing on both their growth and client satisfaction
• Languages: Fluent communication skills in German and English
