Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Developer with extensive experience in AWS, .NET, C#, RESTful API development, and a solid understanding of front-end web technologies. This position is fully in-person at our San Diego facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, be well-versed in best practices for API design and development and have a passion for creating robust and scalable systems. Experience with front-end technologies is a plus, as you will be collaborating closely with our user experience team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services.
- API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET and C# that are efficient, scalable, and easy to integrate with other systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with mobile application developers and user experience team to ensure seamless integration of APIs with user-facing components.
- Security: Implement best practices for security in cloud environments and APIs.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all software developed complies with industry regulations and adheres to rigorous testing protocols to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of cloud services and APIs and optimize them for speed and efficiency.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and APIs.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices in cloud development, .NET, C# and API design.
- Operate with high standards that are aligned to Certified B-Corp values.

Required Qualifications
- Education: AÂ degree in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud development, with a strong focus on AWS.
- .NET & C#: Extensive experience in developing applications and APIs using .NET and C#.
- API Development: Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Security: Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices.
- Regulated Industry Experience: Experience working in a regulated industry, with a focus on ensuring compliance and rigorous software testing.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer).
- DevOps Experience: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Microservices: Experience with microservices architecture.

Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to be independently mobile. The employee is also required to interact with a computer, and communicate with co-workers.
Location
In-office in Beta Bionics'Â San Diego office.
Salary Range
$115,000 - $155,000
