Your Role at impact.com:

Infrastructure-as-code - as a Senior Cloud Engineer, you'll be a member of our highly collaborative engineering team obsessed and driven to build and manage high performance, highly available, secure and agile production environments. Your mission is to ensure the platform is highly reliable, secure and globally available. You are proficient in building, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting complex systems; you aspire to be an expert in the field; you enjoy collaboration across all abstraction layers; you obsess about quality.

What You Have:

• Strong experience with Linux administration or high-availability web application administration
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with configuration management and cloud provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with server configuration via tools (e.g. Ansible/Puppet/Salt)
• Proficient in at least one high-level programming language and shell scripting (e.g. Python, Bash)
• Obsessed with building and ensuring systems are secure and monitored
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Ability to adapt and focus on the simplest, most efficient and reliable solutions.
• B.S. in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent experience.

What You'll Do:

• Take ownership of production systems ensuring a high degree of reliability.
• Monitor performance and overall health of the platform.
• Monitoring and finding anonymous behavior in the platform.
• Troubleshoot across the entire stack: hardware, software, network, applications.
• Analyze high latency, performance degradation and implement remediations.
• Build software to automate infrastructure tasks and improve productivity.Salary range: $120,000.00 - $130,600.00 per year, plus additional 5% variable annual bonus contingent on Company performance and eligible to receive Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) grant.Nice to have:
