Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team at Bolling AFB in Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

• Designing, developing, and managing the underlying cloud infrastructure, such as virtual machines, storage, and networking components
• Integrating cloud-based systems with existing on-premises infrastructure
• Develops and deploys cloud-native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability and security
• Implementing security measures and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in the cloud environment
• Demonstrate ability to adapt, perform critical thinking and identify solutions for the evolving cloud requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Two or more years of proven experience as a Cloud Engineer/Administrator, specifically with a Kubernetes certification; PowerShell and Python experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technology and virtualization concepts.
• Strong proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell, Python).
• Experience in designing, developing and managing cloud-based infrastructure and applications
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements with a minimum of two (2) examples of practical application
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of DoD security Cloud requirements
• Two or more years of experience working in SAP and/or SCI environments

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with vSphere for the next integration of the cloud migration.
• Industry verified cloud engineering certificates
• Experience with VMware
• Experience in troubleshooting Cloud and application incidents, identifying root causes, define and resolve issues, and implementing preventive measures
• Understand the software development lifecycle
• Provided guidance and training on cloud competencies and best practices

Clearance Requirements:

• Top Secret Clearance, with SCI eligibility within scope (at time of hire)

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
