Senior Cloud Engineer

We are hiring aSenior DevOps Engineeron behalf of our client – a fast-paced, innovation-driven company based in New York with a startup mindset. This is ahybrid positionrequiring at least three days per week on-site in NYC. This is not a managerial role, but we are looking for ahighly capable, self-motivatedindividual who can independently prioritize, execute, and deliver results. The ideal candidate is reliable, calm under pressure,mindful, demonstrate urgency, and beavailable in emergency situations (24/7) Responsibilities • Own and manage CI/CD processes withAzure DevOps: Setup, optimize, and troubleshoot workflows and pipelines. • Work fluently inAWS: Confident in managing and optimizing AWS services, with a particular focus onLambdacost-efficiency and strategic use of newer features. • Ensureobservability and operational excellence: UseDatadogto set up monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards. Proactively identify and escalate critical issues and their impact – even up to the CEO level. • Collaborate across teams with a startup-level understanding of urgency, autonomy, and accountability. • Uphold high standards of system reliability, security, and performance. Key Requirements: • 5 to 10 yearsof experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles. • Proven success instartup or fast-paced environments. • Strong hands-on expertise withAzure DevOps,AWS (especially Lambda), andDatadog. • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tooling and platform performance optimization. • Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. • Willingness to participate in amulti-round interviewprocess.
