Information Technology

At AIG, technology is at the heart of everything we do, from underwriting risks to processing claims. The Information Technology team equips our colleagues with the latest tools to complete their work efficiently and with the highest standards of excellence. The team is responsible for shielding the company's systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG's businesses to achieve their goals. AIG's Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

About the role

What you need to know:

Collaborating with development teams to understand and provide feedback for optimal cloud workload solution architecture within agency Azure environment

2. Setting up and Managing the cloud environment configurations to support WVD/application workloads

3. Indepth knowledge of the Azure services

4. Designing and building out automation platforms utilizing IaC to provision using Terreform, PowerShell

5. Supporting and completing requests for operational support to include communicating level of effort and status to cloud leadership team

6. Setting up a secure Azure Cloud Foundation for WVD/Citrix implementations

7. Identifying and communicating opportunities for improving security posture within cloud environments

8. Optimize cost in the Azure Landing zone working closely with the AIG FinOps team

Indepth knowledge on VMWare virtualization and VMC

DR solutions for Azure and VMC setup creation

Ansible knowledge is a plus

What we're looking for:

Preferred skills and qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of cloud engineering methods, applications, and best practices across cloud service providers.

2. Experience implementing, managing, and supporting security products to protect workloads in Azure.

Experience in implementing VMWare solution including VMC

Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Developer
