The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Extensive experience in 1 or more scripting languages (Python, Groovy, etc.).
• Hands on experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CFT etc.).
• Experience with and/or knowledge of databases based in the cloud - CockroachDB, Yugabyte, Neo4J, Aerospike etc.
• Experience designing and implementing performance and chaos testing for large clusters / cloud infrastructure.
• A passion for delivering software using engineering best practices and principles.
• A passion for new technologies and cloud database trends.

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join the Database Platform working in Cloud and Platform Engineering (CAPE), who are responsible for enabling the next generation streaming platforms across Fidelity. We excel in the construction of high quality, secure and scalable cloud platforms using industry-leading engineering principles and practices. We are a global team which has a passion for open source and continuous learning while pursuing engineering excellence in the cloud in a collaborative, open and transparent culture.
