Senior Cloud Engineer - Observability

Position Overview:

The Intapp Cloud Platform is a rapidly growing collection of cloud services. As part of a global team, the ideal candidate will be able to quickly move between architecture, design, and daily operations with an emphasis on scalability and automation. 

Our team is working to implement a long-term logging, metrics, and tracing solution that meets the technical and financial needs of the company, while improving observability practices across Intapp. With this vision, we are deploying a number of different open source and proprietary products to address different areas under the observability umbrella.  

What you will do:

• Develop and improve instrumentation for monitoring, logging and distributed tracing. 

• Proactively monitor systems, infrastructure, and applications to provide input in improving the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of systems. 

• Develop and maintain Monitoring and Logging toolsets  

• Own operations documentation of monitoring and logging 

• Improve operational efficiencies via automation, scripting and integrations. 

What you will need:

• Good understanding on cloud applications monitoring and logging 

• Hands-on experience with ELK, Prometheus, Grafana 

• Experience in Kubernetes/docker and highly dynamic environments  

• Practical experience with large distributed systems 

• Strong automation/scripting skills (Python, Golang, any other programming language) 

• Working knowledge of CI/CD 

• Infrastructure provisioning and management 

Nice to have 

• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD) 

• Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure resource monitoring via Prometheus 

• Working knowledge in OpenSearch
