Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Remote
Job Description
As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you'll be a core member of our dynamic Corporate IT team. You will have the opportunity to work across multiple business units as you develop and support company-wide secure cloud and on-prem solutions and projects. You will be creating and integrating solutions for new and existing cloud services leveraging automation and DevSecOps practices with a deep emphasis on security and reliability. This position is open to fully remote work.
What you'll do as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:
- Work closely with Software Developers and IT staff on company "DevSecOps" initiatives
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud
- Leverage REST APIs, JSON, and other common API models to develop integrations
- Work with multiple internal customers on solutions built on common DevOps technologies and cloud providers including AWS, Azure
- Create and support commodity DevOps tools, CI/CD practices, and documentation
- Provide support and technical assistance to end users on a variety of issues
- Present solution designs to various stakeholders for input, buy-in, and sign-off
- Ensure that the system design balances functional, service quality, and security compliance requirements
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, which includes US citizenship
- High School Diploma or equivalent along with 13+ years relevant experience or BS degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions
- Strong background in IT systems including Windows and Linux environments
Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience with Windows Server 2016 and above
- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, CentOS 7, Ubuntu 20.04, and above
- Experience using infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack)
- Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps lifecycle
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes)
- Ability to obtain professional certifications on AWS, Azure
- DoD experience
- Secret Security Clearance - Active or Inactive
Anticipated salary range: $90,00 - $180,000. Offer may vary depending on experience and skill set.
