Senior Cloud Network Engineer

The Role

We seek a Cloud Network Engineer to join our network team and manage, maintain, and architect our cloud and on-prem network infrastructure. This individual will plan, triage, action, and close out items concerning our hybrid environment. You will work closely with infrastructure and developers to ensure a scalable, automated, and robust architecture. You will be performing security remediation and improvements to existing infrastructure. You will also be able to advise clients on selecting and implementing various toolsets within their current infrastructure or implementing new automation strategies in the cloud. 

How You’ll Help Take Us There 

• Design and implement network & cloud infrastructure solutions 

• Manage and maintain existing network & cloud infrasucture  

• Building highly scalable and highly available solutions deployed on public clouds (such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, and GCP (Google Cloud Platform)) and hybrid environments. 

• Provide monitoring & fault management and remediation of alerts. Tuning & optimization of monitoring systems 

• Aid with periodic network reviews and analysis 

• Help with the establishment of operational procedures & support documentation 

• Review, track, and update network operations policies, standards, and documentation 

• Aid with the development of the network management platform adoption, configuration, and tuning 

• Research, design, develop, and implement cloud network architecture and strategy. 

• Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance issues: utilization/throughput, slowness, and unexpected latency

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $200,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
