Senior Cloud Network Engineer

• The Sr. Network Engineer Operations II (NetOps) acts as the technical team lead, working with a team of engineers responsible for the Health and Operations of NICE-inContact's global network.
• This position works with network infrastructure in both private cloud data centers and public cloud (AWS) environments. 
• This position is responsible for maintaining the health of the network infrastructure and ensuing 99.99% uptime as well as acting as the technical lead for the team. 
• The Sr. Network Engineer II, will be working with a variety of network-related devices and technologies across multiple vendors i.e. Arista, Palo Alto, F5, Juniper, Cisco, Brocade, as well as public network devices i.e. ALB/ELBs, Gateways, Security Groups, etc. 
• As a technical lead member of the Network Operations team, you will help develop and coach other engineers and enforce best practices for monitoring and deploying changes to the environment with the goal of maintaining 99.99% uptime. 

Major Functions/Responsibility 

• Technical Lead for Network Operations team Handle escalated cases and customers Coach and Mentor other engineers Support and Maintain Global Network across private and public clouds 
• Follow Network Architecture Standards Operational level support and configuration on network infrastructure device Routers, Switches Firewalls Load Balancers ALB/ELBs, Gateways, Security Groups Operational level support and configuration of; VPN (IPSec & SSL) OSPF and BGP routing protocols VLANs, 802.1q, 802.1x, STP, VRRP, HSRP Load Balancing, security, firewall policies Participate in Incident, Problem, Service and Change Management Work with Problem Management team on Root Cause Analysis 
• Create and Maintain documentation Participate in on-call support rotation 
• Communicate in an effective and professional manner with internal and external customers 
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times 

Experience Required

• 5+ years working experience with network infrastructure devices and technology
• Experience configuring IPSec VPN 
• Experience configuring Routers/Switches Advanced understanding of Ethernet technologies Advanced understanding of public cloud technologies 
• Solid working experience with OSPF and BGP Solid understanding of TCP/IP Solid knowledge of VoIP protocols and technologies 
• 4+ years’ experience working with firewalls Packet capture and analysis Visio
• Working knowledge of AWS 
• Experience on the F5 Loadbalancers 

Experience preferred 

• Palo Alto Networks, Arista, F5, Juniper, Aruba, Cisco, AWS
