Senior Cloud Operations Engineer(SBC)

Job Description

1. Design, deploy, and configure Session Border Controller (SBC) solutions to interconnect, transform, route and secure internal/edge sourced SIP services
2. Nice/Verint or any other recording platform experience – advantage
3. Experience working with voice and data networks in the capacity of troubleshooting and maintenance.
4. Microsoft operating systems, Networking, SQL, Security and VoIP technology.
5. Knowledge on Public or Private cloud.
6. Telephony Experience with most common PBX, Switch and ACD Vendors - Avaya, Nortel, Aspect, Siemens and Cisco – advantage.
7. Experience of working in medium or large teams. Must be a Team player.
8. Well represents NICE in front of customers, both verbally and in writing.
9. Copes well with conflicts and is able to resolve them.
10. Perform system analysis and integration with other communications services and technologies
11. Utilize proprietary and industry standard tools and technologies to monitor, isolate and interpret communications related network traffic and faults e.g., WireShark, TraceSM, TraceSBC, etc.
12. Deep understanding of SIP, H.323 and TCP/IP stack
13. Experience with AWS Cloud  - advantage

1. 6 or more years of experience in providing L2/L3 support in telecom domain, product – SBC/IP PBX or Recording platform.
2. Demonstrated ability to resolve complex technical issues. Encouraging free and open exchange of technical ideas and suggestions and working with regional and global management to implement approved projects.
3. Ability to provide excellent and ongoing support to other NICE business teams as needed to solve customer and product issues in a timely manner.
4. Bachelors in Electronics and communication Engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent experience.
5. CCNA, CCNP Certification, SBC Certification - advantage
6. AWS Certifications - advantage

1. Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain cooperative working relationships within a global, diverse, multicultural environment.
2. Abililty to work in typical office environment, using standard office computer equipment
3. Ability to work with data center or On premise environment, standing for extended periods of time while performing maintenance duties.
4. ability to deal directly with internal and external customers in a friendly, supportive manner to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues regarding NICE hosted performance, security, availability, and reliability

1. Position may be required to work at a computer terminal and desk for long periods of time on projects.
2. May be required to travel between main offices, co-location facilities, and other NICE worldwide locations.
3. Ability to work in rotational shifts (IST, BST & PST time zone) and weekends as and when required.
