Senior Cloud Performance Engineer

• Lead performance benchmarking and analysis across distributed systems, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing database and infrastructure performance
• Troubleshoot complex system issues, analyze logs, and resolve production-level challenges to ensure system stability and reliability
• Recommend and implement configuration improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and system responsiveness
• Collaborate with development, cloud, and security teams to continuously improve platform performance and resilience
• Design and execute chaos engineering initiatives to test system robustness and uncover potential weaknesses
• Build and maintain tools for automated performance testing, benchmarking, and system monitoring
• Analyze system behavior under load and develop strategies for capacity planning and resource optimization

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems and performance engineering
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, C++, or similar
• Solid understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and scalable system design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and collaborate effectively across engineering teams
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in production environments
• Experience with database performance tuning, benchmarking, and capacity planning
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-moving environment
• Passion for building highly available, scalable, and efficient systems
