Overview
As a Vice President-Security Engineering (Senior Cloud Security Engineer) at GreenSky (a Goldman Sachs company), you will work with a distributed team of security professionals whose responsibility is to ensure the data we collect and generate is secure from unauthorized access, and that our devices and systems are secure, resilient, and compliant.
A successful candidate is one who can work in a multi-cloud environment, engages directly with software developers to understand their needs, and is capable in designing/implementing security systems and solutions that enable developers to operate more effectively, securely, and safely.

This role will have direct influence and immediate impact on the security of customer facing solutions and will help the organization maintain and build upon regulatory compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design/create and execute security controls and defenses to prevent insider threat or external attacks
• Work with software development teams to perform cloud security reviews, identify security problems and improve the security aspects of their service(s)
• Partner with Architecture to design and lead DevOps to implement new security tools/controls in the cloud environments
• Assess vulnerabilities/risks that could affect the integrity, availability, or confidentiality of data, systems, or services
• Resolve security events and conduct security risk assessments using penetration tests, ethical hacking tools, or risk mitigation methodologies to evaluate vulnerabilities
• Review the technical architecture of new projects for compliance with security standards and architectural plan
• Troubleshoot, research the root cause of, and resolve security or risk issues with guidance

Required Skills / Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in designing and implementing security processes and solutions in AWS/Azure cloud with topics ranging from architecture, governance, compliance, and operations
• 3+ years of experience with Systems Engineering/DevOps, IAM, network security, systems security, cryptography
• 1+ years of experience with AWS/Azure cloud security tooling and services
• 1+ years of experience with cloud vulnerability management tooling, remediation, and processes
• Experience with coding/scripting in one or more languages (Python, C, C++, Java, Powershell)
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems

Preferred Skills:

• 1+ years of experience with SAST/DAST/IAST tooling and CI/CD integration
• Experience with web application development
• Penetration testing experience
• Experience in architecting and delivering solutions using various cryptography processes/solutions
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of industry standards including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, etc.
• Industry standard certifications (CISSP, CCSP, CEH, CISM, AWS Certified Security, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Security certifications)
