Senior Cloud Solutions Architect

Ossia (www.Ossia.com) is hiring a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect out of our Redmond, WA office. This position will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Cota cloud system software across multiple products. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in cloud integration of smart devices, on-premises enterprise deployment of networked devices, consumer- and enterprise-level applications, licensing, privacy, remote metrics, and performance data collection.

Role Responsibilities

• Hands-on architect who can define and implement cloud solutions and unified network solutions for several products (RDKs, white label) and joint development projects (PoCs, pilots, etc.).
• Understand customer end-to-end software needs for the platform, pain points, and preferences through user feedback and data analysis.
• Drive initiatives to add features like mobility management (handover, re-selection), security key management for factory production, and overall security model.
• Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders, product management team, and internal teams to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Act as an ambassador for the product, ensuring stakeholders understand the product's value and benefits.
• Provide timely and transparent communication on product progress, milestones, and changes.
• Drive for and ensure issues are responded to and resolved within a standard service level agreement (SLA).
• Define product requirements, specifications, and user stories to guide the development process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering end-to-end software solutions for localized and cloud-based applications.

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.

• 5+ years networking experience (VPN, Wi-Fi, 802.1x, IPv4, IPSec, VLans), including mobility management for large scale networks.

• Demonstrable success in cloud integration with consumer electronics and/or IoT devices with cloud-based applications and deployment.

• Experience with in-market software product analytics and metrics.

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices.

• Previous startup experience, guiding teams through rapid growth cycles.

Education

• BS in EE, ECE or equivalent technical field required, MS or PhD preferred.
• Industry certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Network+, Security+, Azure Certified are preferred.
