Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CMDB Architect to join our global enterprise team. This role will focus on relationship management and dependency management within our Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CMDB architecture, data modeling, and integration, with a strong emphasis on managing complex relationships and dependencies among configuration items (CIs).

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Development: Develop and maintain the CMDB strategy and roadmap. Design and implement a central CMDB to meet business and technical requirements.
• Relationship and Dependency Management: Manage relationships and dependencies among configuration items (CIs) for accurate impact analysis and risk management.
• Data Integration and Consistency: Integrate the CMDB with external data sources and tools. Ensure data consistency through normalization and synchronization.
• Governance and Compliance: Establish governance frameworks, policies, and controls for data management. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless CMDB integration. Provide technical guidance and support to users.
• Reporting and Metrics: Develop KPIs and metrics to measure CMDB effectiveness. Report on performance and identify improvement areas.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of IT experience focused on CMDB architecture and management.
• Extensive experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, services, and processes.
• Experience with data modeling, integration, and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Education

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• Certifications: ITIL, TOGAF, CIS or related frameworks.
