Senior CNC Machinist / Programmer

Job Summary: We are seeking a veteranSenior CNC MachinistProgrammerwith 5–20 years of hands-on experience—adept at taking components from design through production with minimal oversight. Candidates must be fully proficient in G-code programming, setups, and operation on lathes and mills, with no need for training. SENIOR CNC MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER Location: Westbury, NY Salary: $60,000 - $90,000 / yr. Key Responsibilities • Interpret blueprints and engineering specs to plan machining processes • Turn Product knowledge: Knobs, Couplings, Bolts, Lamp Parts, etc. • Program CNC machines (G-code) for high-precision parts • Independently set up and operate CNC lathes and mills • Troubleshoot machining issues, tooling, and equipment • Ensure consistent quality control throughout production • Partner with engineering and production to align on design execution • Conduct routine equipment maintenance to preserve performance REQUIREMENTS: • 5–20 years of recent, relevant CNC Machining experience • Advanced proficiency in G-code Programming for Lathe and Mill Operations. • Turn Product knowledge: Knobs, Couplings, Bolts, Lamp Parts, etc. • Proven ability to work independently with no training required • Skilled in tight-tolerance machining and production-scale work • Stable and verifiable employment history in machine shops Preferred Attributes: • Experience machining brass or non-ferrous metals • Capable of proposing process enhancements and tool optimizations • Comfortable using inspection equipment and enforcing dimensional quality Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
