Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Query Oracle and SQL Server databases
• Gather and analyze end-user requirements, build specifications
• Willingness and ability to adapt to new BI technologies
• Query databases to troubleshoot issues in reporting
• Train and support Cognos end-users on primary navigation in Cognos Connection
• Absorb and present complex ideas quickly and accurately
• Provide solutions on a tight deadline
• Exhibit a commitment to data quality at each step of the development process
• Train and support Cognos end users on Self-Service functionality in Cognos Analytics

Position Qualifications:

• At least 9 - 10 years of experience
• Required skills: Cognos Admin
• Nice to have skills: Cognos TM1 and IBM Cognos Framework Manager
• Cognos Framework Manager training is a plus
• Cognos BI 11+ training a plus
• Exposure to other market-leading BI Tools (ie. Tableau, Power BI) a plus
• Basic Knowledge of reporting and analytics using the Cognos 11+ Analytics Suite
• Oracle SQL training (or Equivalent Experience)
• SQL Server Management Studio Training (or Equivalent Experience)
• Good prioritization and time management skills

Salary and Other Compensation:

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
