Senior ColdFusion Web Developer
Work Location: Remote (CONUS)
Status: Exempt
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, and quality.
- Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
- Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
- Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas.
- Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
- Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
- Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
- Perform pre-sales engineering activities for federal government clients.
- Provide product demos of software to potential federal government clients.
- Assist client delivery teams with design and development of technical solutions for implementation and deployment based on client requirements.
- Responsible for proposal solutioning and technical writing, as well as responsible for authoring technical white papers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 - 12 years of relevant experience.
- Must be familiar with ColdFusion (CF) vs 11 and migrating to CF 2021 (update 11).
- Considered a recognized authority within the company.
- Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
- Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.
Preferred:
- Experience with ColdFusion migrations.
- Experience with FuseBox strongly preferred; experience with ColdBox a plus.
