Senior ColdFusion Web Developer

Work Location: Remote (CONUS)

Status: Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Oversees all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, and quality.
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
• Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
• Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas.
• Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures within own area and basic knowledge of other areas to resolve issues that have impact beyond own area.
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how areas of IT project leadership collectively integrate to contribute to achieving business goals.
• Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
• Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties.
• Perform pre-sales engineering activities for federal government clients.
• Provide product demos of software to potential federal government clients.
• Assist client delivery teams with design and development of technical solutions for implementation and deployment based on client requirements.
• Responsible for proposal solutioning and technical writing, as well as responsible for authoring technical white papers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 - 12 years of relevant experience.
• Must be familiar with ColdFusion (CF) vs 11 and migrating to CF 2021 (update 11).
• Considered a recognized authority within the company.
• Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
• Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

Preferred:

• Experience with ColdFusion migrations.
• Experience with FuseBox strongly preferred; experience with ColdBox a plus.
