Senior ColdFusion Web Developer

Work Location: Remote (CONUS)

Status: Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Provides ColdFusion (CF) expertise to support development activities
• Assists on CF configuration and architecture decisions
• Oversees technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects, including project planning, execution, timing, and quality
• Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met
• Supports end user requirements development and analysis
• Supports client communications, providing timely and accurate information and status updates
• Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project management
• Applies in-depth understanding of concepts and procedures to resolve issues
• Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of how IT can integrate to contribute to achieving business goals
• Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.
• Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may negotiate with external parties
• Assists with delivery on design and development of technical solutions for implementation and deployment based on client requirements
• Supports solutioning and technical writing, and potentially supports authoring technical white papers.
• Supports solutions for complex technical problems and provides innovative ideas

Qualifications:

• 5+ years development experience
• 3+ years ColdFusion development experience
• Hands on experience with ColdFusion 2021 or 2023
• MS SQL Server experience or experience with back-end databases

Preferred:

• Experience managing ColdFusion upgrades, specifically ColdFusion 11 to ColdFusion 23
• Familiarity with modifications for deprecated tags and other features
• Familiarity with ColdFusion Analyzer and remediating highlighted issues
• Familiarity with FuseBox or ColdBox CF development frameworks
• Experience with pre-configured Azure ColdFusion Virtual Machines
• Experience supporting testing, staging and production across multiple environments
