How you will make contributions that matter: 

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team at Southbank, in this role you will partner with the Export, Domestic, and the Nutritionals business units and support both financial stakeholders (Operations Finance, FP&A, S&OP) and non-financial stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Customer Excellence) and the Senior Commercial Finance Manager by providing accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

• Oversee the Domestic, Export, and Nutritionals Business Units as the Finance Business Partner for Sales Managers, while collaborating closely with S&OP, Customer Excellence, and Sales teams to drive financial performance
• Budget & Forecasting – validity of volume loads, commodity pricing, international commission calculation and analysis
• Month End Reconciliations – including key SAP reports, SAP journalling
• Preparation and presentation of monthly management reporting including detailed analysis on key drivers on financial results.
• Pricing maintenance and insights – working closely with the Export Senior Analyst on Commodity Pricing and tracking price listings for Nutritionals and Export Retail products.
• Volume maintenance and insights – Partnering Sales & Operations Planning – relating to sales demand, inventory and left-to-sell reporting.

About you:

We’re looking for someone with:

• Tertiary Education – Business or Finance Degree
• CA/CPA qualification (completed or in the process of completion)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a relevant industry including, but not limited to: FMCG, Manufacturing, and Dairy
• Exceptional skills in building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and presenting effectively.
• High standard of Excel modelling, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• SAP experience advantageous but not mandatory
