Senior Commercial Contracts Manager

As a Senior Commercial Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of sales contracts with an emphasis on commercial sales.  You will also provide advisory support to Business Development and Sales leaders, Capture Teams, and Program Managers, in coordination with Legal and Finance departments.

• Execute all position responsibilities in alignment with Slingshot’s core values, mission, and purpose
• Manage pre- and post- commercial contract activities from project initiation through end of the warranty period in coordination with the sales, procurement and legal teams
• Draft, negotiate, and maintain commercial software licenses, end user licensing agreements, data sharing agreements, and other agreements to support domestic and international sales 
• Provide commercial contract expertise to support the sale and delivery of the agreed upon work 
• Support sales team on the preparation of commercial offers and quotes 
• Develop and implement scalable processes, policy and workflows for commercial contract management and administration
• Perform active contract management, including assessing risks and opportunities
• Support growth of the commercial contracts team to scale private sector business line
• Regularly communicate clear roles, goals and expectations for team members; promote a culture of feedback and accountability
• Perform other duties as assigned (to be less than 10% of the responsibilities listed above)

• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for government clearances

• 10+ years of experience in commercial contract management, including software sales and licensing
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related field
• Experience with international commercial contracts and software sales
• Experience with Federal Government Contracts 
• Aptitude for setting up new organization, processes and functional capability with little oversight 
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work remotely in a high-paced cross functional team environment

• Experience using contract management software experience for automated management and reporting
• 15+ years experience preferred
