About the Role

As Senior Communications Manager for Turkey, you’ll be responsible for driving Dyson’s communications strategy and safeguarding our reputation in the market. You will lead the development, execution, and monitoring of communications plans for product launches, corporate messaging, and strategic partnerships. A key point of contact for media and influencers, you will also work closely with our teams in the Middle East and Dyson's global headquarters to ensure alignment across all channels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the communications strategy for Dyson Turkey, aligned with the local commercial strategy and regional goals.
• Media Relations: Manage daily media and influencer relations to secure coverage and reviews, particularly in the beauty and home tech sectors.
• Reputation Management: Monitor media stories, maximize positive PR, and mitigate any negative press.
• Event Management: Organize digital and physical events to showcase Dyson’s innovations and key messages.
• Agency Management: Lead PR and influencer agencies, setting clear KPIs and ensuring efficient, goal-oriented execution.
• Corporate Communications: Develop and implement corporate communication strategies, focusing on financial, educational, engineering, and sustainability narratives.
• Internal Communications: Collaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure cohesive messaging.
• James Dyson Award: Lead the James Dyson Award in Turkey, working with universities and students to promote the program and secure media coverage.

About You

We're looking for a resourceful and proactive storyteller with a minimum of 10 years' experience in communications, ideally in a PR agency or multinational company. You’ll have deep knowledge of the Turkish media landscape, strong relationships with top-tier beauty, wellness, tech, and business media, and the ability to manage multiple projects and agencies. Fluency in both Turkish and English is essential, as well as a strong grasp of current media and influencer trends.

Key qualifications and skills include:

• Fluent in Turkish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in managing communications for beauty, technology, and business sectors.
• Strong media contacts in beauty and technology.
• Excellent project and event management skills.
• Experience in crisis communication and advising senior leadership.
• Knowledge of the Turkish media and influencer landscape.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong experience with social media and event management.
• Positive, energetic, and adaptable, with a passion for storytelling and innovation.
