About the Team
Joining the team as a Senior Compensation Analyst means you will work closely with the Senior Manager, Total Rewards to help drive compensation best practices at Miro. In addition, you will be a strategic partner to the People Business Partners/People Managers across the company, and collaborate with our global Finance and Operations teams. Each role at Miro is based at one of our physical hubs and we look for talent that want to be part of these local, collaborative communities.
About the Role
As Miro scales to 2,000 employees and beyond in the next year, we need an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst within the Total Rewards team to ensure all compensation programs are efficient, world-class, and enabling our continued hyper-growth. As the Senior Compensation Analyst, you will analyze our best practices while guiding us towards true excellence in reward management and equity programs. What you'll do
  • Run the biannual compensation cycle including systems, manager training, and business support
  • Support the business in compensation needs and requests including job architecture changes, hires, promotions, retention concerns, etc.
  • Analyze market positioning, salary structures, and pay mixes to ensure market competitiveness to support overall compensation strategy
  • Partner with the People Technology team for the Workday implementation in providing necessary data and process information
  • Develop processes, procedures, and documentation for collaborating with the business and People team partners
  • Participate in compensation surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position
  • Develop compensation reports and tools to inform compensation program decisions
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on topics related to compensation
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support total rewards projects

What you'll need
  • A minimum of five (5+) years of experience in compensation analysis at a global private or public high tech company
  • Experience with process ownership and bringing to completion with little oversight
  • Experience with Radford, Pave, Workday, and other benchmarking surveys, systems, and tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to translate quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiences
  • Advanced in Excel/Google Sheets and proven ability to build and maintain insightful models and reports

The reasonably estimated salary is specific to CALIFORNIA and may not be applicable to other locations. The range for this role is between $117,600 - $161,700. Included in the total package is an equity component, this may also include variable compensation. Final compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
