About the Role:
Panorama is looking for a Senior Compensation Manager to join the People Team! Â
In this newly developed role, you will report to the Vice President, Total Rewards & People Operations and play a critical role in the design and evangelization of a Total Rewards strategy and the key compensation programs that are critical to helping us attract, inspire, and retain talent to achieve our mission: To radically improve education for every student.Â
As a successful candidate, you'll handle the development, implementation, communication, and administration of innovative compensation programs including job architecture, short and long-term incentives, reward and recognition programs, benchmarking and survey analysis, emerging trends, new technologies and compensation training.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to design and implement our compensation philosophy and programs that help Panorama attract and retain great talentÂ
- Collaborate with Finance, Talent Business Partners, Recruiters, and Business Leaders on compensation matters company-wide
- Own and execute annual compensation planning activities (broad-based & executive compensation); including benchmarking, data prep & analysis, auditing, and reporting out on key findings for leadership approval
- Manage the company equity program; deliver employee training, issue grants at the direction of the Board, maintain equity administration tool (Carta)
- Conduct market analysis and provide data driven-insights regarding on-target earnings, including base and variable compensation split, and equity compensation for new and existing rolesÂ
- Develop, assess and refresh compensation and job structures to improve effectiveness of compensation programs that attract and motivate employees
- Perform analysis on the efficiency and competitiveness of compensation programs, and model potential impact of alternatives
- Through partnership with People Team leadership, empower and enable the business to make independent and thoughtful compensation decisions through the use of clear guidance and guardrails Â
- Train the People Team on compensation practices and drive engagement of employees through compensation education sessions
- Support corporate M&A initiatives; participate in Total Rewards due-diligence, plan analysis, go-forward recommendations, and execution of a successful and engaging people integration experience
- Partner with HR Ops Manager and IT team to enhance compensation practices through our HR systems (Workday & ADP)
- Ensure flawless data integrity in all work product; be an activist for change when a process is creates data inaccuracies
- Participate in special projects as needed with enthusiasm and desire for professional development
Our ideal candidate has:
- 5+ years of experience in either compensation or finance
- Experience with Workday Advanced Compensation is preferred
- A strong understanding of compensation best practices, current compensation trends, and market benchmark dataÂ
- Proven analytical skills with an eye for detail, accuracy, and in depth knowledge of excel/google sheets; including proven ability to build and maintain complex models
- Excellent communications skills, is approachable, with a strong collaborative way of working
- Demonstrated ability to foster operational excellence through customer service, programs and practices
