About the Job
Taulia is looking for an experienced Senior Compliance Analyst with a risk management orientation to join our burgeoning Risk and Compliance team. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will report to the Financial Crimes Risk Manager and support the onboarding and ongoing monitoring process for new and existing Taulia customers. You will make an immediate impact as a seasoned Compliance professional and you will support the current and future growth of Taulia. Additionally, you will also support other compliance matters as it relates to customer risk rating, AML, sanctions, and export control. As our ideal candidate, you’ll be experienced in these areas, including local and international laws and regulations as it relates to AML/KYC/KYB matters.
Core Competencies & Responsibilities
- Support the Risk and Compliance team in preventing, detecting, and reporting suspected fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing activities
- Conduct analysis of customer KYC/KYB information in conjunction with the onboarding process
- Provide guidance on export regulations and the KYC/KYB customer risk rating process
- Communicate clearly with business and functional personnel on KYC/KYB - and export-related matters
- Perform Negative News, Sanctions, and PEP screening functions and review transaction monitoring alerts as part of ongoing monitoring throughout the lifecycle of the customer
- Work within aggressive timelines to ensure goals are accomplished for KYC/KYB Customer Profile reviews
- Assist in other activities and duties as required to develop, enhance, implement, monitor, and control aspects of Risk and Compliance
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years working in a compliance-related role or other relevant work experience in AML/KYC or other relevant work experience in a financial services company, legal, regulatory or consulting firm
- Strong in-depth working knowledge of AML regulations and AML/KYC/KYB entity types, etc.
- Experience supporting internal and external compliance audits
- Experience in analyzing complex ownership structures
- Proactive, well-organized, highly motivated
- Demonstrated communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Skill in handling workload fluctuations and managing evolving/shifting priorities
- Advanced level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (V-lookups, and Pivot tables)
- Knowledge and mindset for automation and improvements to improve processes for scalability

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to): skills, depth of work experience, certifications, geography, etc. Total compensation for this role includes a generous benefits program, RSU incentive plan and annual performance bonus.
