What you're applying for
We're looking for a Senior Compliance Lead to join a fun, energetic team of insurance veterans who are passionate about regulatory compliance.
You'll leverage your regulatory and insurance knowledge to deliver metrics and reporting, reviewing and dissecting insurance documents-including claims and other transactional records-to ensure our business practices are best in class. You'll serve as a primary interface with state insurance regulators, leading a talented team as they deliver professional, comprehensive, and timely responses to regulatory complaints and inquiries, and helping evolve processes to meet our own high standards.
The starting base range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000 per year. Base pay is one component of Lemonade's total compensation package, which will also include equity in the form of RSUs, access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, robust PTO, parental leave, and more.
In This Role You'll

• Identify areas of concern and problem solve with internal stakeholders
• Recommend, develop, and implement process improvements
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards and paying close attention to detail
• Monitor data, identify trends, design and prepare regular reports to internal stakeholders
• Communicate clearly and professionally with state regulators
• Ensure tight feedback loop between Compliance team and internal stakeholders
• Maintain impeccable records

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of insurance complaint experience
• BA in English, History, or Political Science preferred
• Extensive P&C insurance knowledge
• Superior writing skills, masterful at all things Google Workspace, and an ability to communicate issues clearly and concisely
• Ability to work in an office environment 3 days a week
