THE JOB:

As a Senior Computer Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and reinforcing known company IT standards and processes.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

· Trains and mentors Computer Engineer personnel on servers, operating systems, property applications, and automations tools.

· Monitors the MGM National Harbor Help Desk queues and works cooperatively with the Corporate IT department, National Harbor IT department, and vendors to facilitate correction of incidents and problems.

· Acts as the property expert on technologies, setting priorities in incident resolution, and executing resolutions.

· Responsible for driving high priority incident resolution within the set SLA.

· Administers Data Center systems, servers, and technology projects.

· Partners with Corporate IT on monitoring backups and other batch jobs and resolving issues as they arise.

· Installs PC, server, and network hardware/software.

· Performs troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on PCs, printers, servers, network equipment and other hardware. Installs service releases and performs routine maintenance on desktop applications.

· Maintains licensing information for all applications and operating systems using an established process.

· Answers inquiries in person and via telephone, e-mail, and voicemail concerning the use of computer hardware and software.

· Updates the shift report on a daily basis to include required information updates and to reflect significant activities that occurred during the shift.

· Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.

·  Responds effectively to guest inquiries related to MGM National Harbor and the National Harbor area providing excellent guest service.

·  Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

· Two (2) year college degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

· 4+ years of prior relevant experience.

· Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

· Cross-platform experience, and the expertise to identify, and resolve integration issues.

· Network+ and/or MCP Certification

Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$25.37 - $40.59

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s equity plan.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
