Position TL:DR

We are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Concept Artist that will bring our big ideas for our game and web3 character, environments, and assets to life. You'll be working directly with other members of our art and creative teams, and reporting directly to our Director of Production (interim until we onboard an Art Director).

Who you are

• You have an intrinsic love for dissecting artistic styles for both characters and environments.
• You are skilled at leading the player's eye, utilizing visual hierarchies and a strong instinct on where to let the player's eye rest.
• You have expertise in anatomy, cloth, hard surfaces, the rule of thirds, shape-language, and silhouette.
• You Understand when to thumbnail, and when to polish an illustration for the best use of time and impact

What you'll be doing

• Inventing the connective visual elements for a new IP.
• Interpreting world-class artists' styles into new characters and environments.
• Defining craft standards for the Concept Art discipline.
• Collaborating with artists across disciplines to find visual solutions.

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience working on projects related to video games or web3 industry
• Comfortable in a variety of concept techniques, (i.e SketchUp, Zbrush, thumbnails, light blocking etc.) with an insight for when to use which tool or technique for the right effect.
• Expertise in value, color theory etc.
• Understanding of Art Pipelines

Salary Range

$100,000-$130,000
