Job Description

How you'll make an impact:
As a Senior Consultant on our Advisory Services Decision Support team, you will be responsible for planning, execution, documentation, project management, and client relationship management for Advisory Service engagements which complement Strata's technology portfolio. You'll be an expert at advising our clients beginning with their implementation of StrataJazz® Decision Support through their downstream usage of the technology. You will partner directly with and provide guidance to key stakeholders and client administrators at the largest health systems in the world. You will be part of an exciting, autonomous, and growing business that leverages our market-leading software platform to help heal healthcare.
The responsibilities of this role include:
  • Assess and design client data structures, processes, and governance leveraging industry standard practices and translate those findings into complete requirements and processes needed for the StrataJazz® Decision Support implementation as well as downstream usage of the technology.
  • Deliver clear and concise documentation to various levels of the customer organization from CFOs and directors to managers and analysts.
  • Coordinate logistics (timing, resources, meetings) of engagements with customers as well as internal Strata resources.
  • Build internal and external presentations to outline findings, plan, progress, and outcomes.
  • Lead and support client projects by gathering and analyzing data, conducting client stakeholder interviews, completing process flow documentation and design, delivering communications, and rolling out updated processes.
  • Engage with client end users and executives to drive alignment and buy-in across process and toolset.
  • Advise on the design of analytics to support customer's strategic priorities and operational transformation.
  • Assess current customer portfolio, toolset adoption, and strategic priorities for Advisory Services opportunities.
  • Proactively collaborate and identify areas of opportunity for Advisory Services solutions, deliverables, or internal functions. Develop and execute action plans to mitigate risks effectively.

How we work:
We have the flexibility to support hybrid work - our campuses are located in Chicago, IL and St. Louis, MO. Regardless of location, you'll have the chance to visit our Chicago headquarters throughout the year!
What we're looking for:
  • Proficiency in healthcare Decision Support (Cost Accounting; Contract Analytics; Service Line Margin Management; Strategic Pricing; and/or Episode Analytics), healthcare finance, financial analysis, and financial performance management
  • Experience in consulting, client management, operations, analytics, process improvement, and change management, preferably coordinating highly visible projects, presenting concepts and deliverables, and leading meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to synthesize, manage through, and present complex topics with the aptitude for partnering with our clients to provide consultative responses that balance their organizational specific needs with industry standard practices
  • Advanced written and verbal communication with the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders across varying levels of an organization
  • Growth mindset to meaningfully contribute to internal operational improvement and strategic growth projects to improve internal processes and continually improve our level of service to our clients
