About the role
Passionate about supporting leaders to drive employee engagement and business results? So are we! We're looking for a bilingual Senior Human Resources Consultant to join the HR team supporting Specialty Solutions and help make Intact a leader in specialty insurance for businesses with unique needs.
With your experience, HR expertise and collaborative style, you will play a key role in leveraging our service offer and supporting Intact’s strategic priorities.
What you’ll do here:

Provide professional HR coaching and advice to selected business groups, considering market best practices, while being aligned with the legislation as well as company values.

Active member of the management committees of your designated groups ensuring all decisions and practices align with our business strategies and values.

Analyze and recommend strategies and potential solutions to a variety of human resources management issues.

Collaborate and work with managers on succession planning, talent management and development of our top talent and experts.

Participate in regional or national projects, play a key role in our ongoing transformation and deployment of corporate initiatives and programs.

Conduct investigations and assist managers in managing conflicts and other employee relations issues.

Develop & facilitate training workshops to meet business needs.

Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and collaborate with all members of the National HR Team, Specialty Solutions, on various types of mandates.

Make salary recommendations based on compensation best practices.
What you bring to the table:
-
University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resource Management
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR consultant in a non-union environment
-
CHRP designation is an asset
-
Ability to evolve in a multi-site, matrix organization and in a constantly changing environment
-
Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills with all levels of management
-
Strong organizational development skills in a transformational environment
-
Strong planning skills, rigor, analytical and synthesis skills
-
Pragmatism and strategic thinking to solve operational and/or complex issues
-
Solid knowledge in all areas of human resources including performance management and employee relations, change management, engagement, compensation, organizational development, and talent management.

Bilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country
