Job Description

The Senior Consultant is a subject matter expert (SME) for their assigned PMIS application (Primavera P6, Unifier, Acconex, or Enablon). They act as a in-depth line of defense for complex technical issues, lead the execution of minor enhancements, and mentor Junior Consultants.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Provide in-depth technical support for their assigned PMIS application, including troubleshooting complex configuration and user issues.
  • Analyze user inquiries, diagnose root causes, and develop effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest features, functionalities, and best practices for their assigned application.
• Solution Delivery:
  • Configure and customize PMIS applications to meet specific user needs and project requirements.
  • Develop and implement minor enhancements, including report modifications, configuration changes, and data manipulation.
  • Document solutions and procedures in the knowledge base for future reference and training purposes.
• Knowledge Sharing and Training:
  • Mentor and train Junior Consultants on their assigned PMIS application, fostering their technical expertise.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on new features or application functionalities.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with Technical Consultants to ensure smooth backend integrations.
  • Communicate effectively with users, explaining technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Liaise with the Service Desk Manager to prioritize and escalate issues as needed.

Key Skills:

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience working with their assigned PMIS application (Primavera P6, Unifier, Acconex, or Enablon).
• Proven experience in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing root cause analysis.
• Strong understanding of PMIS principles, project management methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with configuration management and scripting languages relevant to the assigned application (e.g., Primavera P6 Professional certification for Primavera P6 consultant).
• Ability to mentor and train others, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (Preferrable Masters's)
