About the Team:

As a member of the Finance, Risk, and Compliance (FRC) group at Capco you will play a role delivering projects, ranging from short-term strategic assessments to large-scale change initiatives, for leading clients across financial services—including investment banking, retail banking, wealth/asset management, and insurance clients.  Capco FRC is a global team that prides itself on our industry-leading expertise from strategy through execution within the risk advisory space. About the Job:

As a Senior Consultant – Regulatory Reporting, you will work alongside industry experts as part of FRC in a fast-paced team setting. The role will entail working with some of the leading financial institutions in the market achieve compliance within tight deadlines against a variety of different regulatory requirements, working predominately on large scale change and transformation programmes.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work on implementations to adhere to global Swap Dealer Compliance related rules and regulations
  • Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations that effectively and efficiently address the most impactful opportunities and challenges related to the functioning and transformation of the financial services industry
  • Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to provide strategic guidance, improve client performance, and drive understanding of client issues
  • Build new solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across Capco
  • Track project level risk issues and dependencies

 What You’ll Bring with You:

  • 5+ years of regulatory reporting experience
  • Must understand the US and global regulatory landscape including but not limited to: Dodd Frank (SEC and CFTC), ESMA, MiFiD, SFTR, FRTB, EMIR, FCA, MAS, ASIC, JFS
  • CFTC and SEC Federal Register familiarity (transaction reporting, business conduct, collateral and margin, port recon, port compression) is required
  • Experience reviewing regulatory commitments, evaluating the design of deliverables, and documenting the closure for further review and sign-off by senior management 
  • Experience leading and/or managing people and/or teams required
  • Understanding of controls from a business process perspective
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to analyze problems, apply analytical approaches, and communicate findings effectively/confidently
  • Microsoft office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
