The Role:Â
Carrot Fertility is seeking a senior content designer to lead localization of digital learning materials and partner with a scrum team on feature development. This role is ideal for someone who is well-versed in product but has deep roots in research and long-form editorial. Senior members of our team are accomplished practitioners of UX design who own their projects and leverage their experience to mentor others.
You will:
- Develop educational materials on fertility health and family-forming topics, conferring with subject matter experts to localize content for key countries.
- Nurture relationships and manage workflows with stakeholders.
- Partner with product managers on strategy and scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Partner with product designers on structure and skeleton, information architecture, and flows.
- Partner with program managers and leadership to articulate Carrot’s localization strategy and milestones
- Craft UX copy and occasional member-facing communications.
- Lead workshops, present in design critiques, and contribute to the UX team's practice.
- Help identify opportunities for continuous improvement of user experience across Carrot.
The Team:
The Product team — product managers, content designers, and product designers — works collaboratively to iterate on a rapidly evolving platform and service. You'll report to the manager of content design, providing input on key content decisions and advocating for member experience.
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- Exceptional research, communication, and editorial skills, as well as expertise in UX/interface writing.
- Experience on or working closely with a product team, partnering with product designers and managers on feature development.
- Outstanding project management ability, with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
- Well-developed ability to nurture stakeholder relationships and support fast-moving teams.
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Experience distilling and communicating complex scientific information.
- Comfort with user research, interaction design, and/or related UX verticals.
- Familiarity with health tech and/or start-up environments.
- Knowledge of medical and/or family-forming topics.Â
- Insight into both localization and designing for global audiences.
- Facility with design and content management tools (e.g., Figma, Contentful).
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The expected base salary for this position will range from $114,000 - $154,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.Â
