Senior Content Manager, Capital Markets Transactions

Role/Department Description:

FactSet's Content Development group develops proprietary content, which is critical in supporting the product requirements of our clients. To meet an increase in demand for Capital Market Transactions content, FactSet is currently seeking to add a resource to the Loans and Public Equity Offerings and Private Placements (PIPEs) Content Collection team.

You will manage and support the collection teams in the maintenance of existing content development processes and expanding the market coverage based on client demands. Duties include data research, modeling, managing the collection development team(s), identifying content and application enhancements, and working closely with software engineers on the implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert of the Loans and PEO-PIPE Content Sets, aka have in-depth understanding of collection methodologies, workflows and processes
• Understand Loans and PEO-PIPE Products, client use cases and needs, be aware of interactions and dependencies with other Content Sets and Products
• Research new markets and data items based on clients' demands, create methodology and process to support new collection efforts
• Work with engineers to implement new features and enhancements into collection applications by providing clear specification documents and testing upon completion
• Respond and resolve questions and issues reported by clients
• Provide ongoing support to Content Collection teams including:
  • Guide creating and maintaining quality documentation for new markets, data items and application functionalities
  • Focus on quality by adding application validations and building QA Reports to capture data inconsistencies and errors
  • Optimize Production and QA workflow to provide timely collection of new deals and updates
  • Regularly review Capacity Planning to ensure task prioritization is up-to-date and proper resources are aligned
• Collaborate with Content Integration and Product teams on content publishing and integration processes to meet client demands
• Direct manager of Business Analysts and coordinate closely with the Assistant Manager of Operations for off-shore Content Collection teams

Required Skills:

• University degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
• 3+ years in fin tech and/or financial services
• Proven ability to understand and interpret financial terminology
• Solid knowledge of financial instruments (Debt and Equity)
• SQL, Python or other coding languages
• Ability to work independently
• Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and communication skills

Highly Desired:

• Managerial experience
• Quick learner, ability to apply skills and past experiences in new situations

The budgeted amount range for this position in NYC and the State of Connecticut is $108,000 - $135,000.
