Department Overview
The Global Video Security & Access Control (VS&A) Marketing Team is responsible for developing and executing all strategic marketing and product marketing programs across the globe to drive product awareness, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees the global product marketing strategy for the video, access control and analytics portfolio, develops messaging and go to market strategy for the VS&A business, creates and drives marketing programs and campaigns aimed to generate leads and build brand awareness among target audiences, including system integrators, end-users and consultants.Job Description

Motorola Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Content Manager to lead our copywriting/content development team for our Video Security & Access Control side of our business. This role will report to the Director of Integrated Marketing.
Job Description
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Senior Content Manager to join our global team. As a member of the Video Security & Access Control Marketing team, this position will lead a team of copywriters and work cross-functionally to further the Avigilon and Pelco brands, establishing their market presence at a global scale across a wide variety of communication channels.

Manage and lead a global team of content writers and developers, including maintaining content calendars, facilitating training, identifying new growth opportunities and delegating tasks based on project deadlines.
Work with the greater marketing team to plan, develop, execute and approve on-brand, concise, and grammatically correct copy for projects spanning the omnichannel marketing funnel: search engine marketing, website copy, email, paid media, marketing collateral, social media and industry-specific marketing.
Create and collaborate on strategies to grow our brand presence and drive engagement across digital and traditional marketing materials.
Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to plan efficient workflows, execute content that aligns with the team's SEO strategy, analyze engagement metrics and innovate on ways to improve content and rankings.
Collaborate with Product Marketing and cross-functional teams to execute on-brand content for product launches, campaigns and lead-generation efforts.
Desirable experience and skills:
Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in English, Marketing/Communications, Writing, or Journalism is preferred.
5+ years experience in a content development or related digital marketing capacity, and 2+ years in a managing role. B2B marketing and communication experience preferred.
Experience writing long-form SEO content, content calendar management a plus.
Experience writing email content for marketing newsletters and nurturing funnels.
Social media experience including brand positioning for LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
Bonus: 2+ years of experience working in a CMS (i.e. Wordpress, Hubspot, Magento, or similar tool).
