The Senior Content Specialist role will be accountable for developing all content to include copywriting, member communications, blog, public relations, website and social media content to aid in driving growth for the credit union. This position requires a hands-on individual who can take projects from concept to implementation, and the candidate should have a proven track record of managing multiple communications channels, both offline and online delivering consistent messaging with consistent brand voice.
Essential Functions include: Content Development & Management- Works cross-functionally across teams including but not limited to marketing (design, brand, content, email, social media and public relations.), product, digital experience, channel owners, department leaders and internal communications to develop and execute fully integrated content to support business goals and objectives. This will include but is not limited to digital marketing, events, direct mail campaigns, print, out-of-home (OOH), radio and more.
- Assist with agencies and outside vendors for brand, digital marketing, non-digital marketing and media buying.
- Manages Elevations’ advocacy content across digital and offline channels, ensuring branding is accurate and consistent across platforms.
- Partners with the Digital team on website, SMS and other forms of digital content.
- Experience copywriting for web content, with a high degree of detail and rigorous follow-though in finalizing content.
- Facilitates weekly communication with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management to report on success of activities and proactively communicate plans for the coming month, quarter, and year.
- Maintains a good understanding of digital marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), brand voice, messaging to different segments, print and television (TV).
Social Media
- Curates content for the Elevations brand on social channels, including Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Coordinates the voice of Elevations’ Subject Matter Experts across a variety of media.
- Manages and/or conducts outreach to members (and potential members) within digital and offline communities, creating advocacy and dialog on behalf of Elevations.
Blog
- Develop a calendar of blog posts each month that aligns with the marketing calendar and goals.
- Draft, edit and optimize each blog post for brand voice and search engine optimization.
- Publishes all blogs on WordPress and manages the upkeep of the WordPress blog.
Public Relations
- Write and develop press releases and distribute them to appropriate media outlets. Measure success of press releases and develop reporting and metrics.
- Manages traditional PR activities when appropriate, including media relations in Denver metro and Northern Colorado.
Marketing Campaigns Manager
Manages:This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities
Knowledge, Experience and Skill Requirements:- Five (5) years of experience in copywriting, social media, PR or marketing campaigns
- A proven track record of managing strategic content that drives growth and aligns to an overall brand message and position with measurable impact.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with business development, key stakeholders and product teams.
- Financial services experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Creative thinker with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with WordPress preferred.
- Experience writing in AP Style required.
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smart phone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, listening constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Compensation information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $66,512 and $91,454, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Primarily report to Elevations Support Center located at 1 Environmental Way, Broomfield, Colorado. However, there will be occasions that require working at the credit union headquarters in Boulder, and the other branch offices which are currently located in Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, Longmont, Boulder, Broomfield, Lafayette and Denver. Â
