RAPP Chicago is looking for a Senior Contracts Specialist to join our award-winning team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the contracts team in the administration and coordination of contract management across various business functions. Review processes to enhance efficiency, and implement best practices, own overall team communications
  • Maintain the contract management systems ensuring accurate and organized documentation
  • Review internal memos and policies to ensure team compliance.  Identify any potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigation actions
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with its contractual, statutory and regulatory obligations under company and customer schedules and policies
  • Foster positive and effective relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • High level contract Lifecyle, document repositories, software license management
  • Tracking various contracting activities and ensuring execution of contractual requirements
  • Participate in discussion and modification of SOWs and Agreements
  • Serve as a liaison between Subject Matter Experts and escalate matters when necessary
  • Review and participation with Government procurement processes
  • Handling of Government inventory

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong Communication Skills:  ability to effectively collaborate various stakeholders
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in contract review, analysis, and documentation
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to maintain files prioritize tasks, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a collaborative and engaging environment
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with contract law and general understanding of legal concepts related to contracts
  • Experience: 5 plus years relevant experience
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders through active listening, clear communication, respect for diversity, and personal ownership
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions
  • Proficient with Technology: Comfortable working with contract management software, databases, and other relevant tools
  • Education:
    • Paralegal Certificate from and ABA Approved Certificate Program
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, contract management, legal studies, project management, or a related field.
    • Familiarity working with Government Programs
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs and priorities

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
