Senior Controller

As we expand, we are seeking a detail-orientedSenior Accountantto support our Controller and help ensure the financial health and organization of the company. Position Summary: The Junior Accountant will assist the Controller in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting long-term fiscal planning. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about accounting, eager to learn, and looking to grow within a structured and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: • Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and classification • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations • Help manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments and customer billing • Support monthly closing activities, journal entries, and bank reconciliations • Assist with budget tracking, cost analysis, and cash flow monitoring • Maintain accounting files and support audit and compliance processes • Participate in improving and maintaining financial procedures and internal controls • Support the Controller in preparing forecasts and financial models • Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal teams on financial matters • Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or in progress) • 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred (industry experience is a plus) • Strong understanding of GAAP and basic financial principles • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and problem-solving skills • Eagerness to learn and grow under the mentorship of a senior finance leader What We Offer: • Competitive salary based on experience • Weekly pay • Health benefits after probation period • Paid time off and company holidays • Supportive leadership and clear path for advancement • Training and mentorship under an experienced Controller • Team-oriented and mission-driven company culture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Ability to Commute: • San Antonio, TX 78217 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • San Antonio, TX 78217: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
