Our team is looking for an experienced Conversation Designer who can leverage their conversation design, interaction design and product design skills to create client centric experiences for an industry leading virtual assistant. You'll work alongside UX designers, researchers, product managers, data analysts, developers, and business partners to design high impact conversational AI experiences for our customers.
The ideal candidate has extensive interaction design experience in the software space, ideally with a focus on natural language conversational systems and tools, and a deep understanding of those platforms. The candidate will be expected to flex from being strategic to tactical, creative to analytical, and easily navigate across multiple disciplines in a high-speed environment. You're an excellent collaborator who can develop and enhance designs in a collective environment through team and stakeholder reviews.
Responsibilities include:

• Research, design, and iterate on engaging, high impact, end-to-end conversational experiences for ADP customers that span multiple devices and channels.
• Create design deliverables including conversational wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and detailed copy decks.
• Integrate persona/character and conversation design standards consistently across experience designs.
• Collaborate with partners to translate high-level business requirements into specific technical requirements to ensure designs are correctly built on the conversational platform.
• Actively engage at all points of the product lifecycle, from concept to release, and work with development teams to refine designs and identify enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in interaction design, service design, product design, Conversation Design, User Experience Design, Content Strategy, Digital Products/Program Management, Human Computer Interaction, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in conversational AI design for voice or chat products
• Deep knowledge of design principles and methods and a portfolio featuring examples of conversational experiences
• Mastery of design tools such as InVision, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and (or equivalent programs)
• Experience with chatbot or voice development platforms (Alexa, DialogFlow, Watson, etc.)
• Understanding of natural language technology, the tech stack behind modern conversational experiences, and how to design for current abilities and limitations
• Understanding of how data from API calls, databases, and other technologies fit into design, and collaborate with developers on implementing solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group leadership and executive presentations
• Experience with Agile methodology of project delivery
• Understanding of how quantitative and qualitative research methods and how they can be used to improve your designs
