Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Coordinator for Bernstein Private Wealth Management, a unit of AB. The Senior Coordinator will work in dynamic, trust-based partnerships with Senior Private Wealth Management (PWM) leaders to serve a broad range of needs and will act as a liaison with both internal and external clients.

The Private Wealth Senior Coordinator will:
  • Effectively and accurately manage the Senior PWM leaders' calendar, including schedule meetings, appointments, and travel plans
  • Be expected to exercise a high level of discretion in connection with complex and confidential duties
  • Support the Senior PWM leaders' efforts in recruiting and managing their staff, including interview coordination, and responding to their direct reports various inquiries
  • Coordinate senior-level internal/external meetings and conference calls
  • Handle a high volume of phone calls from internal contacts and external clients
  • Provide general administrative duties in a timely manner, including the preparation and revision of correspondence, database maintenance, reconciling monthly expenses, and scheduling and management of reporting
  • Assist in general office maintenance, which may include ordering office supplies and facilities coordination
  • Prepare presentations and reports for management, clients, and prospects
  • Assist in ad-hoc reports and special projects as needed requiring a high level of detail and follow-up
  • Work the approximate hours of: 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Flexibility to work overtime as workload demands change
  • Be available during business hours for any unexpected calendar changes or requests


Initial training is primarily on-the-job, focusing on Bernstein solutions, content, processes and systems. Continuing education is designed to enhance job performance and improve knowledge of the capital markets, industry and economic trends, as well as enhanced knowledge of our services. The Senior Coordinator is required to complete all training programs and courses assigned. Total compensation is competitive and comprises base salary plus overtime and discretionary bonus.

Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a coordinator, administrative or executive support in a corporate or professional office with experience working alongside high-level professionals
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for frequent internal and external interaction
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks and projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
  • Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills, problem-solving, and follow-up
  • Strong organizational skills and impeccable attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills and flexibility to adapt to a variety of personalities
  • Approaches uncommon questions and tasks with creativity and ingenuity
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks and flexibility to change focus quickly as demands change
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and dependability
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
