Senior Copywriter

This position is responsible for creating relevant content for websites, blogs, articles, white papers, products and social media. You will be expected to create content that is specifically crafted to capture the attention of our target audience.

The ideal candidate is first and foremost, a compelling writer. At Agora, this means more than proper grammar and correct spelling. You must be able to take complex subject matter and translate it into a relatable and engaging message on a variety of marketing mediums.

To excel in this position, a passion for marketing is key. Beyond writing, you will be required to think strategically to develop creative marketing campaigns tailored to different stages of the customer life cycle. At Agora, you must be a team player. You will be a part of the Marketing team and will work to accomplish planned initiatives and partner with creatives to ensure your strategic vision is coming to life in design. From the beginning to the completion of a project, you are intricately involved throughout the process.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Write clear and error free copy for all marketing department projects and needs
• Research, write, and edit copy that will be used in various forms
• Develop and drive key messaging and content to inform about our company and solutions
• Drive brand messaging and consistency through all channels
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all business facets including products, projects, and internal processes
• Study auto finance industry-related topics and identify opportunities to meet needs
• Collaborate with team members at all levels
• Participate in brainstorm sessions to define the vision of projects and effectively communicate that vision through well-written copy
• Analyze content marketing metrics and propose changes to increase engagement and conversions
• Ensure content is optimized for SEO to grow organic traffic
• Identify customer needs and recommend new and relevant content
• Examine target audience and marketplace to ensure copy is accurate and effective
• Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field is required
• Auto finance (FinTech) industry experience is preferred
• Three to five years of copywriting experience is required
