Senior Copywriter

When we started in 2012, we set out to reinvent men's basics — with underwear and socks as our starting point. Today, we are a full-fledged menswear brand that powers radically-efficient wardrobing. Rooted in smart design and performance fabrics, our products are engineered to work together through our pioneering “Daily Wear System”.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced and pithy copywriter to join our creative team. Over the past year, we’ve been implementing a new brand positioning and we have some big goals for the next 12 months. This role will be key to our success and help us maintain a clear brand voice, tone, and perception. If you’re quick-witted, can come up with a sophisticated-but-not-stupid joke on the fly, and have a knack for writing, this may be the gig for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Help bring campaigns to life with slogans, romance copy, and channel messaging
• Write effective and engaging copy for all marketing channels including social media, email, text message 
• Take responsibility and ownership of copy for assigned projects
• On occasion, manage freelance copywriting talent
• Participate in creative reviews and feedback
• Contribute to the brand voice and tone guide as need arises
  

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 3+ years of experience in copywriting, retail experience is preferred
• You keep an eye on cultural trends and are able to react accordingly, bringing relevant topics/slang into copywriting projects
• You have a unique approach to solving creative problems
• You come to the table with a point of view on creative executions
• You have a habit of taking initiative and a drive to see your ideas come to life
• You are hyper-organized—skilled at balancing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Excellent relationship building and influencing skills
• Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
• Ability to be in our NYC office 3 days a week
